Full official abstract

We are adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for HPH s. r.o. Models Glasfügel 304C, Glasfügel 304CZ, and Glasfügel 304CZ-17 gliders. This AD results from mandatory continuing airworthiness information (MCAI) issued by the aviation authority of another country to identify and correct an unsafe condition on an aviation product. The MCAI describes the unsafe condition as jamming between the double two-ring end of the towing cable and the deflector angles of the center of gravity (C.G.) release mechanism. We are issuing this AD to require actions to address the unsafe condition on these products.
